Sit in the back while giving the lap bar some room and you’ll get some really sharp ejector pops to go along with those screeching laterals.

There is some airtime but it isn’t the best and the first drop is definitely fun in the back.

The second bunny hill being in a tunnel gives that extra touch - but the amount you float out of your seat is solid for a wood coaster.

The gravity group’s retract also restored Grizzly’s air time as you get great pops of floater and ejector air time throughout the ride.

Although the finale is still quite rough, the rest of the ride runs so smoothly and has such good airtime that it’s pretty easy to look past.

Grizzly is an incredibly smooth roller coaster after the recent full retracking, however I found the ride a little bland and short.

With the latest retracking work, Grizzly is running mostly smooth (the main rattle is in a slow turnaround) and intense. Remains one of my favorite coasters in the park and is an excellent night ride!

But, because I’ve been around the block a bit and really notice how rough and out of gas it seems towards the end, it’s plain to see Grizzly’s not a top woodie by any means.

The dead spots ruin the pacing and there is a lot of pretty much straight track or slightly curved sections with no forces besides a bit of laterals.

Never a line really likely because its hidden, and some don’t like the rough spots near the end which I think give it its charm.
