What riders love
  • Best wild mouse I've done with great laterals and not too uncomfortable.
  • I love the feeling that you'll fall off around each turn, and it gives you two quick drops.
  • But hey, it’s best wild mouse I’ve ever ridden, and a fun one too!
  • The first drop is the best part of this ride! It's actually very fun.
  • I will say, this particular ride is one of my favorite iterations of the model, with it's large drop in the beginning and more comfortable turns.
  • For my first wild mouse coaster, this was excellent.
  • Also it’s a REALLY good family coaster! (Doesn’t deserve the hate)

Vs. other coasters at Kings Dominion

Sure, it may not be the most unique or the largest, but the laterals, the small pops of airtime and positives on each drop, even the ridiculously intense brake run--it all adds up to make a small but...

Emerson Head

It’s a wild mouse…the first drop does add a little bit of value to it but even then it has no airtime at all.

Mason Newton

The 50 ft drop gives you zero airtime.

Bolton Lawless

Smooth wild mouse with a fun first drop, the turns are very uncomfortable in the tight trains with no padding on the sides, and the line is almost always 30+

Alexander M.

It was so much fun and the turns were incredibly smooth and not like other wild mouse models.

Liam Dodds

Solid first drop for a wild mouse, but when this ride hit the final breaks it hit them so hard and abruptly that my stomach was thrown into the restraint.

Austin L.

Elbow and neck both needed a break afterwards, the ride is rough and the supports are extremely uncomfortable.

Parker Davidson

Milder than it looks.

Bolton Lawless

Great first drop, surprising speed there.

roller rider

It didn’t make any weird noises or even tip or seem like it was going off track, but it hits those turns going VERY fast and doesn’t slow down in them.

@Joshslan

This one seems to run a bit slower than the one at Carowinds, but the brake runs are also less crashy.

Michael M.

It runs a lot slower than its counterpart at Carowinds, so the turns weren’t nearly as uncomfortable.

MapleFlakes

The first drop is good for a wild mouse, and if you go to a park I would give it a ride or two which is easy as it rarely ever have a line of more than a few people.

Pine To The Cone

I walked right on.

Jake The coaster dude

These have small footprints in amusement parks but their capacity is always abysmal and I’m always stuck in a line for these things.

Max S.

Really fun ride but OH MY GOD the wait times are so long!😭

Alexander M., Captain Coaster review

I like a good drop, and while it isn’t great, it isn’t too bad either.

Wesley O., Captain Coaster review

Austin L., Captain Coaster review

While it may be a bit controversial that this is in my top 5 from KD, I can truly say that it beats a lot of other coasters in the park.

Emerson Head, Captain Coaster review

It has a decent fun factor to it with the large first drop and laterals but it really does nothing special at all.
