  • My first coaster, a long time ago! You never forget your first, amiright?
  • I've been riding this countless times since going to the park in recent years.
  • There is like 1 nice airtime moment of note; but Tornado shines in its role as a family woodie.
  • The first drop and first hill were forceless, but some of the other hills provided some decent floater airtime.
  • Airtime aplenty on that gosh darn Tarnader (Texan lady wouldn't stop saying that but I love the accent).
  • Yeah it’s not the most exciting and it’s a little rough but it has buzz bars and there are some nice airtime moments.
  • It’s smooth, especially for its age, and fun enough to earn it a 3.5 from me.
  • The back half of the ride was extremely rough 5-6 years ago but re-tracking has seemingly fixed the problem.

Vs. other coasters at Adventureland Iowa

Sitting in the front of a car seems to help with the roughness and my ride near the front of the train gave lots of airtime so I really enjoyed this one.

True, it’s not amazing or crazy, but it is a really fun wooden coaster that gives you some floater air.

While it is nice to see a buzzbar wooden coaster operating, it doesnt matter much as there is absolutely no airtime so who the heck cares.

My second ride in the back of a car was too rough though so it does matter which seat you ride in.

The ride is very comparable in a way to Wild Thing at my home park Valleyfair where it is really fast nut has no intensity but that one has more redeeming qualities than this does.
