What riders love
  • The first drop alone is the single most violent moment of ejector airtime I have ever experienced. I felt like i was standing up in my seat from how powerful it was.
  • The kink on the first drop is still my favorite single moment from any coaster I've been on.
  • What the bottom of that drop does to your body in a back wing seat doesn't feel like it should be allowed.
  • My favorite part of skyrush is that the ride is always doing something, even the transitions between elements are intense.
  • It delivers crazy out of your seat air on the first drop, then immediately transitions into face stretching positives. I literally could feel my cheeks getting tugged downward.
  • Skyrush makes me feel like I'm gonna die more than any other coaster and that is an amazing thing.
  • If you hate seats, this ride is for you because you'll barely be in it.
  • After that is the buffet of airtime hills, where you get pulled up out of your seat again and again.
  • The ejector airtime on the hills is indescribable. You seriously feel like you are going to fly out of the coaster.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Hersheypark

Plus throw in an insane ejector airtime filled layout with some great positives and you’ve got one of the greatest coasters I’ve ever ridden.

Inverted Thrills

My hands were up as we crested the hill, and as we rocketed towards the bottom, the impossible happened, I literally felt as though I was coming free of my seat.

Coaster Critic

its really intense, just the lapbar is too painful to enjoy, the airtime is probably among the best in the world but the lapbar just ruins it.

Enzo

The airtime was amazing though, would be a 10/10 if it was smoother.

Colin M.

Airtime wasn’t as strong as before, and the lap bars were not great, not much of an improvement over the old ones (which were completely fine).

Ethan

The new restraints are quite comfortable, just wish they locked downwards during the ride so they don’t crush you as much, but it isn’t painful.

Sillius Billius

Both times I was so stapled by the end of the ride that my thighs were hurting badly and I couldn’t wait to get off.

Oldiesmann

I did notice a rattle on Skyrush this time around, especially in the back, but it didn’t detract from the ride experience in my opinion.

Kw6sTheater

After that you are greying out hard in the turns, then getting SUSTAINED ejector air over every single hill, all while going up to 75 mph.

Zach Payne

I am excited to say that Skyrush is better than ever, it delivers that same incredible and intense thrilling ride experience, just without the thigh-crushing pain as before.

Coaster101

Very forceful, made terrible exclusively by awful restraints that focus every ounce of force from the coaster right on your thighs.

Zach O.

It gets a few stars for its fun intensity; I just only wish I could enjoy it more without hurting.

Lauren Banjo

For me, this ride can be ranked only one way, as a 10, with a thrill rating of a VERY high 5, this is one aggressive beast, even as smooth as it is.

Coaster Critic

There is a very real gray out moment in the second turn.

Brandon Rollins

The way it chucks you over the lift hill at such high speed, the little turns and dips with just the right level of aggression.

Zac AJ

The airtime is powerful on every hill and the speed is immense, especially at night where you feel like you are going to crash.

Coaster Key

The first drop is phenomenal, there is a lot of airtime and the ride never seems to slow down as it maintains a steady pace.

Simon

The ride lifts you up to it’s max height in an insanely quick manner, at least it doesn’t take 500 years to crest it.

Vinnie T

There’s a very jarring rattle and the back half isn’t much of anything after it loses speed.

Brandon Rollins

When all other lines at the park are typically pretty long, Skyrush is usually close to a walk on.

Baxter Olson

Due to how intense this coaster is, the line is usually one of the shortest in the park.

SocialismDoesntWork

I rode it four times back to back with a friend since the line was short.

Ben I

Her lines get long, the past few times I’ve ridden I got a headache.

Caia Soup

Also, its way to short yet the line takes 20 years.

Enzo
Height fear

Front row staring 210 feet into the pit below was terrifying.

Dylan O'Neill

This was my first hyper, and ngl, it scared the crap out of me.

Ryan Armstrong
Motion sickness risk

This is the only ride that makes me queasy from its intensity.

Maddux

I had no problem with the restraints like some, but the intensity actually was too much at some points, making me a bit sick and disoriented after the ride.

Matt Rappaport

Should I ride it?

I just don’t love ejector airtime and greying out for 20 seconds, It is objectively the best ride I’ve been on- but I don’t love Batman for the same reason- greying out is not fun for me.

Zach O., Captain Coaster review

The ride is fun, sure, but the rattle was absolutely insane and the lap bars made it insanely uncomfortable.

Brian, Captain Coaster review

I have not yet ridden this with the redone restraints and am eager to try it, but even with the old restraints this is near the top for me.

Nick Vilagi, Captain Coaster review

Of course, we still got that amazing sensation coming down the first drop, and believe it or not, there was absolutely no thigh-crushing pain at all!

Coaster101, published review

Was very excited to ride but ending up being extremely disappointed.
