What riders love
  • Brake run did nothing to pacing, as hill after hill kept me out of my seat.
  • My favorite part of this ride experience is easily the finale with the three mini camelbacks because those three hills actually deliver violent ejector airtime and the airtime is also snappy!
  • The bunny hills at the end are also fantastic with nice pops over each one.
  • I think the strongest aspect of this layout is the sense of speed it carries throughout, especially through the helix.
  • I say it’s a floater machine with a forceful helix in the middle.
  • The helix provides great sustained forces, and the airtime hill coming into the midcourse is powerful.
  • The restraints are so good they feel like buzz bars so you get awesome standing airtime on so many moments.
  • That strong airtime combined with the measly lap bar is just an experience you can't get on most other coasters.
  • Those restraints allow for tons of airtime room and constantly floating up and slamming back down with positives is so much fun.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Dorney Park

This one offers not-so-steep drops but decent airtime on the crests of all of its hills, great views from the top and a nice sense of speed.

Matt McIrvin

Great floater over all those hills and especially over the first drop in the back.

R S

The restraints are so good they feel like buzz bars so you get awesome standing airtime on so many moments.

Carter Eckhart

The hills at the start are good, the helix is really forceful, and those tiny hills at the end give unexpected ejector airtime.

angela

Maybe I caught this on a bad day (last summer) but I got almost no airtime.

@dadbodgamesquad

A lot of the first few drops are weaker than expected, but the duration, location, and sheer smoothness of this coaster make up for it.

Clayton Latone

It was comfortable and pleasant, but I just didn’t feel like it did much.

Em McMahon

Steel Force is Magnum XL 200’s big bro, as it’s a similar ride, but with more comfortable airtime and a smoother ride experience.

roller rider

While the click into the chain lift hill was comically jarring on my ride, the rest is surprisingly smooth.

Lauren Kelly

I only list discomfort as a con because after a few rerides, the airtime slamming you against the hard seats might start to get to you.

Anthony DeNight Jr.

SF started shaking after the first drop.

Coaster Nut

What is mind blowing is the helix, which is absolutely enormous and gives a huge combination of positive and lateral forces.

Eric Esty

The helix provides great sustained forces, and the airtime hill coming into the midcourse is powerful.

Alexander Marko

The helix is really intense too.

R S

The first few drops are fun and smooth, going through tunnels and the helix towards the water is intense and forceful, and the mini hills coming back to the station have good airtime.

Clayton Latone

This is easily the most gentle hyper coaster I’ve ever ridden.

@RemixedVoice

I think the strongest aspect of this layout is the sense of speed it carries throughout, especially through the helix.

MapleFlakes

The helix also has great laterals and feels very fast.

Carter Eckhart

However, it’s got some stellar floater airtime, a long, fun layout, and a great sense of speed.

Anthony DeNight Jr.

Brake run did nothing to pacing, as hill after hill kept me out of my seat.

Braydon Garner

...is real and it is wonderful, some great airtime, comfortable trains, and in my case, a lap bar that is inches away from your lap, only thing keeping it from 5 stars is how much the mid course trims

Holden G.

This is a really good Morgan hyper coaster that is always a blast to ride and never has a bad line.

CoasterKiwi

Just watch out for the sudden positives on the valleys, and try not to rage at terrible loading process.

Elijah Jarrett

Only criticism I have is the opps take WAYYYY too long to dispatch the train ahead.

Braydon Garner
Height fear

I went on this ride yesterday for the first time and I was so scared when I got to the top 😂 it’s super tall!!

@katanimates9890

I still remember riding it when I was 12 years old and getting increasingly nervous going up that slow lift hill.

@mhtube01

Should I ride it?

Now we’re talking…not among my favorite hypers, but a good, solid ride with at least a half-dozen floater moments (better up front).

The Real E-Rock, Captain Coaster review

Great floater over all those hills and especially over the first drop in the back.

R S, Captain Coaster review

The helix was really cool and so was the return trip airtime hills, but nothing that blew my mind.

Chris Jones, Captain Coaster review

Those restraints allow for tons of airtime room and constantly floating up and slamming back down with positives is so much fun.

Cooper Zimmerman, Captain Coaster review

The first drop and the helix were great, but the rest of the ride is pretty average.

b 335, Captain Coaster review

It has a great first drop, some nice airtime throughout, and a neat mid-section that follows the terrain.
