What riders love
  • Not super intense for most of the ride but the first two loops are enjoyable and have solid g-forces.
  • I said the loop had some whip and my head didn’t get banged at all.
  • The first drop delivers a nice pop of air.
  • Honestly the most memorable part about ninja for me is that the first drop gave me butterflies.
  • The first drop is great when you are in the back, the inversions are intense, and the final helix is better than expected.
  • It's not a bad ride, it surprised me.
  • Might not have ridden it had I gone just by the ratings. But I'm glad I did.
  • Over-hated and my favorite ride at the park

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Mid America Adventure

My favorite parts are the first drop with super strong negatives and then the banked turn near the station.

Ben

This ride is janky with bad transitions that caue moderate headbanging and a pretty forecless ride but not as bad as everyone says also cool head chopper and a pop of airtime near the end.

Danny Miller

The first drop delivers a nice pop of air.

Brian Sheldon

But I got a little air and some good intensity - especially in the back.

JJ Vavrik

The whip caused by the momentum at the front of the car gives a crazy unexpected dose of ejector airtime.

Destination Thrills

As long as you can get your head either above or in front of the restraint, the ride runs fairly smooth as well.

JJ Vavrik

Unfortunately this ride combines the worst aspects of both manufacturers: rough track sections, janky transitions, and uncomfortable trains.

Matthew Ebert

I experienced your normal headbanging on most Arrow loopers but just keeping your head back makes the experience way less painful.

Max S.

The first drop is great when you are in the back, the inversions are intense, and the final helix is better than expected.

Matthew Ebert

The helix near the ground at the end was decently intense and pretty enjoyable.

Max S.

It finishes with a rather forceful (positive G) helix.

Brian Sheldon

Immediately after the drop the ride goes into a vertical loop and this element actually surprised me with strong positive G’s.

CoasterCenter

It’s not bad, but it’s not super intense, and even with the inversions it’s just alright.

Ethan Finn

There’s a large variety of elements for a coaster with such a small footprint but there are a couple of dead spots for sure.

Ben

It crawls through its layout and slams your head through every Planet Coaster transition like it was designed to be trash.

Because of this, I’ve very much learned to ride it without any discomfort or issues, to the point where it’s one of my top rides.

Salem Newman, Captain Coaster review

Yes it’s rough, but it was tolerable, and way better than some other old Vekoma/Arrow coasters.

Duncan G., Captain Coaster review

This coaster only had 3 bad transitions and only 1 spot of headbanging.

Grant Ells, Captain Coaster review

I’m normally pretty tolerant of rough rides, but this one is pretty bad.

Evangelion Martini, Captain Coaster review
