What riders love
  • One of the most insane out of control rides ever made. So big, so tall, so fast, and had great airtime at the start and the end.
  • The pacing is great, and while I do wish it was smoother, the roughness adds to the crazy out-of-control feeling.
  • Was intense, fast, and felt like it went on forever without being boring.
  • The first drop is fantastic in the back row and gives great airtime.
  • Although I love the sense of speed you get on this one, especially the first drop.
  • It has great speed and intensity, especially after the first drop.
  • It's enormous, and has an awesome location by the forest, with terrain interaction, by itself.
  • The coaster also has a good duration and great setting through the woods.
  • This is a beast of a wooden coaster in a great location and an interesting layout.

Vs. other coasters at Mid America Adventure

Had a decent pop of air after the drop and on a couple hills at the end but the rest of the ride was jackhammering.

Landon Cleefman

I was able to get 6 clicks of room with the lap bar and keep it in that position for the entire ride, which made me fly pretty high out of the seat on every airtime moment.

Carter Eckhart

With four enormous drops, super powerful laterals, and some surprise airtime, it’s extremely thrilling.

Eric Esty

Last bunny hill is huge ejector, caught me off guard in a good way.

Spektr 46

Boss is at my home park and i have never gotten airtime on it but i still love it for the laterals Also the laterals are so strong one time i was riding with my brother and we went into a

@Blitzol

The front was much smoother than anticipated and the re track sections were awesome.

Peter Glenn Mihelich

The trains are small, uncomfortable, and you’re guaranteed to have some bruises somewhere on your lower half after experiencing this clinker.

Ethan Finn

The ride has improved and gotten more comfortable with updates last year, but it still is very shaky and that is what brings it down.

Clayton

This ride really lives up to its name, the Boss is nice to you until you are done with the first drop, then it goes and tries killing you and I love it for that

Noxa Valleyfair goer

The pacing is great, and while I do wish it was smoother, the roughness adds to the crazy out-of-control feeling.

Duncan G.

I will stand 10 toes down on anyone who complains about this coaster, but yes, it is VERY intense.

Jason C.

I love this coaster perfect blend of a weird unique layout and crazy intensity.

X2fan710

This ride has so many Positive G’s, was not ready for it.😅 made me feel like I305 but wood

@thecoasterguy7367

I genuinely felt like I was going to die and crack a rib, one of the most intense coasters ive ever been on, just because I felt like every drop and every turn we took was going to send me flying and...

Ben Sah

The first half rips you through an out and back into beautiful Missouri woods at a relentless pace, with a great first drop and some legitimately scary headchops.

Caleb Vines

There is a few dead spots but there is also some very fast sections to make up for it.

Carter Eckhart

It has great speed and intensity, especially after the first drop.

Clayton

By far the worst woodie in the park, you get a pretty uncomfortable ride that manages to bleed all of its momentum and pace on every hill and turn-around.

Evangelion Martini

For one, the ride now brings you a near stop on the mid-course brake run.

Canobie Coaster

Extremely long queue path to such a bad ride.

Peter Glenn Mihelich, Captain Coaster review

Despite a great layout and the potential for a great ride, it was so violently rough that it was completely unenjoyable.

Stewart Bender, Captain Coaster review

It is a bit rough and retracking wouldn’t hurt it but I still had a great time.

Max S., Captain Coaster review

So big, so tall, so fast, and had great airtime at the start and the end.

BMIA, Captain Coaster review

nothing to enjoy about it, the airtime isnt even the terrible yet fun airtime like on screaming eagle, it just hurts.

Enzo, Captain Coaster review

Have you ever wanted to strap in and ride a jackhammer for a mile?
