What riders love
  • Classic mine train with a great setting, using the hills to stay pretty secluded from the rest of the park.
  • The drops into the tunnels are enjoyable and the setting with the trees around you is nice.
  • The location in the forest is nice.
  • It’s a pretty long ride that’s quite a bit of fun.
  • The drop in the dark at the end is a wonderful touch and much preferred to a helix ending.
  • I had a lot of fun on this ride. The final drop was a nice surprise.
  • This is a pretty standard mine train with multiple lifts, several helices, and a surprising final drop.

Vs. other coasters at Mid America Adventure

This is a top mine train contender for its terrain layout and smoothness, especially compared to most other Arrow mine trains where you will get bruised.

David

It’s butter smooth and tucked back in the woods but it doesn’t really pull any forces.

Carter Eckhart

It’s old, poorly maintained, jerky, shockingly uncomfortable, and despite always being a walk on it feels like it takes ten minutes to get started.

Caleb Vines

The only thing I have to complain about is the painful jolts at the beginning of all three lift hills.

Silas M.

After my review ride, I realize it’s definitely not as intense as I remember it.

Max S.

The drops are kind of fun, but nothing intense obviously.

Ethan Finn

It does have a great layout going low to the ground through the terrain and making it feel faster than it actually is.

Max S.

The rest of the ride is slow and forceless, and while old mine train cars can be a little cramped, this one hurt my legs as the transitions often caused me to slam into the sides and front of the car.

JJ Vavrik

It’s pretty bumpy, the transitions are a complete meme because this is an arrow, there are many dead zones and the lap bar leaves so much room that you end up slamming around your whole body on the...

Typical wait time

The duration is also quite long so you get a lot of value for a short line ride.

Max S.

I waited longer for this than any other coaster in the park, which makes sense because it was only running one train and has three lift hills.

Landon Cleefman, Captain Coaster review

Odd ride but being a old arrow its a given it has terrible transitions and lots of straight track that does nothing but the awful track work gives this ride good laterals and s good final drop
