one heck of a good ride
What riders love
  • This coaster is very smooth and intense, packing some serious g-forces and laterals.
  • I always appreciated it for what it is--super smooth, crazy fast paced, and intense throughout without a brake run to interrupt the fun.
  • The mirrored layout flips the traditional Batman experience on its head, and the black color scheme is sleek and unique. I love it.
  • It goes to the right off of the lift hill instead of left like all of the rest.
  • While it won't be near the top of my B&M invert ranking, it's still a fun, intense ride that's held up great 30 years after opening.
  • This one had no rattle compared to Magic Mountain so it should belong above it.
  • They’re generally smooth, intense, and the compactness adds to the experience.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Mid America Adventure

I always appreciated it for what it is--super smooth, crazy fast paced, and intense throughout without a brake run to interrupt the fun.

Brian Sheldon

Not a massive B&M invert guy but this one is surprisingly smooth for being built in 1995.

Glass Cannonn

This coaster is very smooth and intense, packing some serious g-forces and laterals.

Elevator, Alarm, Coaster and Animation Productions

The ride is smooth for the most part and the intensity is there, but the coaster feels calmer than it actually is since you aren’t jerked around much, which is a pro or a con depending on how you view...

Shy Guy Coasters

This Batman clone in particular also has a pretty noticeable rattle but it didn’t really detract from the ride.

Carter Eckhart

While it won’t be near the top of my B&M invert ranking, it’s still a fun, intense ride that’s held up great 30 years after opening.

Duncan G.

Although this version is mirrored compared to most versions I’ve ridden, it still packs the intense forces and inversions you would expect from the layout.

Max S.

The intensity, sequencing and pacing are on-point and it results in a truly cracked ride.

BLITZN00DLE

The drop was actually pretty good for an invert, the pullouts of the loop as well as the first helix was intense, although not quite as intense as some other Batman clones and the zero g roll and...

Carter Eckhart

They’re generally smooth, intense, and the compactness adds to the experience.

Ethan Finn

This one still felt very fast and I actually rode it within one hour of the park opening so I was surprised how fast it still ran.

Max S.

They move a ton of people through the line all day everyday.

Brian Sheldon

Oh also it’s almost never closed and the capacity is good.
