What riders love
  • The loop is very powerful, corkscrews are snappy, and it has an amazing Zero G roll.
  • The low-to-the-ground turnaround is awesome, and the inversions are all spectacular.
  • I’m a sucker for the interlocking corkscrews that was very reminiscent to KUMBAS.
  • Underrated looper. The forces are strong and the inversions are great.
  • Scream is a very fun floorless coaster, great inversions, a forceful helix, and nice spots of floater.
  • Better then I expected. Smooth and forceful.
  • We didn't even have to get off the back row on our last visit!
  • Lines and waits are also very short.
  • Though, it is nice that it always has such a short line.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Six Flags Magic Mountain

Scream is a very fun floorless coaster, great inversions, a forceful helix, and nice spots of floater.

Eric Esty

I dont know if anyone else can relate to this but I sat on the rightmost seat in the front row and the moment that dive loop hit, my legs flew out of my seat and it was awesome.

@adamcaspe5139

There isn’t any airtime or other crazy forces, but it’s still a solid ride.

Erik C.

Come on guys, it’s not rough! It’s better than what B&M are putting out these days, and the rattle is only noticeable if you focus on it!

Coaster Elemental

I found it very smooth and comfortable.

Erik Hortsch

4-10-2023 Reride: I’m not sure if this has been renovated in the last year, but it seemed a lot smoother this time.

Kellen Grady

A bumpy ride, keep your head forward, or all the way back, otherwise, you’ll come off with a headache.

ThemeTendo

The hard over the shoulder restraints bash your head throughout the ride if you are on the shorter side, and let me tell you its not a pleasent feeling.

JarvisTheAllosaurus

I’m not generally a huge fan of these sorts of coasters, but Scream is smooth, the inversions are graceful, and every element hits hard.

Elijah Bacelieri

Inversions are excellent, pacing is perfect, and each inversion has so much force packed into it (I’d recommend riding on the sides), plus the floorless aspect adds intensity and fire.

Vivaan Chopra

This is a B&M floor less with intense inversions.

Henry Japha

The ride is smooth, its inversions are graceful and fun, and there are even some intense spots such as the helix after the MCBR.

Erik C.

That said, it’s very tame despite having 7 inversions.

Erik Hortsch

It’s got great height, length, and a fabulous layout that keeps its pace the whole way through.

Coaster Carl

The ride offers up a speedy experience with two loops and the B&M ’interlocking’ corkscrews.

ThemeTendo

It has some nice inversions and a good pace.

Joel Simon

Scream is so silky smooth and fast that I never find myself screaming.

@baronvg

Left turn that rises you up and into the midcourse brake run, which does slow you down.

R38Coasters

There’s never a line at this ride probably because its at the very back of the park and it has good capacity.

Dylan JM

First, the wait times are never high for this ride, because for some reason people don’t like riding in parking lots (you get a nice view of the whole park if you turn your head).

Vivaan Chopra

And no wait! Probably because they gave this thing no character whatsoever.

Chris Favata

Though, it is nice that it always has such a short line.

Alexia Englund

Lines and waits are also very short.

Decently intense for a post Y2K B&M, and actually, the unassuming "it’s just a ride come and play" mentality is fun.

Dave Scott, Captain Coaster review

It is the only coaster that has made me feel in pain after riding and it and the rattle in the outside seats gives a bad headache.

Shmee, Captain Coaster review

Pretty good coaster, the settings not horrible, and I like the views when I sit in the front row because the trains are floorless.

RThirtyEight Coasters, Captain Coaster review

i really enjoy this ride but the big problem on this is there is no themeing and to the point there is no scenery like WHY DID SIX FLAGS NOT THEME IT!

mr random coaster person O'Connor, Captain Coaster review

The first three inversions are decent, otherwise this ride and its parking lot aesthetic represent everything wrong with coasters being treated like plug and play assets.

Bryan Bonafede, Captain Coaster review

I actually think it’s smoothed out quite a bit recently, to a point where I don’t really have an issue with it.
