What riders love
  • The theming is great with tunnels decorated in Mayan theming.
  • But it has such good theming it even has MONKEYS!
  • The theming on this thing is really fun, and elevates it past most mine trains.
  • The laterals and directional snaps are unpredictable and surprisingly thrilling, and the theming is sorta cool.
  • It has super fun jank and laterals, and the theming they put on this is honestly really well done.
  • A lot of people say this ride is too rough, but I personally think it adds to the experience.
  • The speed is good and I enjoy the fact that it winds through the trees and a few tunnels.
  • This ride is filled with intense laterals as you hug the terrain through tight, lateral turns and go through themed tunnels.
  • It has a nice setting in the woods, and the theming elements are nice.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Kings Island

On top of that this ride has an amazing sense of speed and a shocking 5 ejector moments.

Carter Eckhart

Lots of good turns, tunnels, and hints of airtime here and there.

Isaiah White

...alone, it is a great deal of fun, with absolutely insane laterals that jostle you from one side of the train to the other, and exciting pops of airtime as the train dips into yet another wild turn.

I'm NotHere

So far, it is my favorite Arrow mine train for being bigger, faster, and smoother than the others I’ve done.

Wesley Flowers

The dip about 3/4 into the helix is a great example of poor arrow transitions.

super7

This is very fun but the laterals do hurt getting slammed to the side of your seat (Or the person who’s next to you), so keep that in mind.

ArieForce One Glazer

This coaster is an insanely forceful mine train that utilizes its terrain to provide a long and unpredictable ride experience, mind the jank.

roller rider

This ride is filled with intense laterals as you hug the terrain through tight, lateral turns and go through themed tunnels.

ArieForce One Glazer

It has great theming for a mine train, it has great intensity, and even though the final lift hill just leads you back to the station, it’s still a great ride overall.

Silver Thunderbolt

I remember as a 13/14 year old being quite disappointed given that it was the 1st coaster since Vortex and was rather tame-esp.

HandsUp

Its the only the thing that is keeping some of the trees in the center of Kings Island, it adds a fun family coaster that sits at a good middle ground.

Thunderbolt

This easily my favorite mine train with some fast and lateral filled downhill turns and cool terrain usage.

Cooper Zimmerman

I feel like the ride felt so much faster at night when those lights were out in the third tunnel.

MDMC01

The speed is good and I enjoy the fact that it winds through the trees and a few tunnels.

Rollertoaster

The speed on this seems a bit faster than most mine trains as well.

Max S.

Starting directly into the course after the station is nice, but the lift hill directly back into the station at the end is a pretty big dead spot.

Michael M.

It sadly ends with a buzzkill of a final lift.

Caiden Brauchler

As with most mine trains, this one has good capacity and is worth a spin while passing by.

Miles Hawkins

Afterward, us three KICers took a ride on Adventure Express, which was a walk-on.

jcgoble3

The ending is confusing, but overall, this is a fun ride and the wait is never too bad.

Elijah Bacelieri

Always had really short lines to it when I used go on end year band fieldtrips.Decent coaster with little to no wait.

This ride is filled with intense laterals as you hug the terrain through tight, lateral turns and go through themed tunnels.

ArieForce One Glazer, Captain Coaster review

The lateral forces in row 2 definitely lived up to the hype, but I didn’t actually enjoy them.

Arrow Die-Namics, Captain Coaster review

This was hands down the best Arrow mine train I’ve been on because the theming was really great and the ride wasn’t as spectacularly painful as usual.

David, Captain Coaster review

Adventure Express is one of the most underrated coasters I have ridden, and in the running for the best Mine Train Arrow ever made.

I'm NotHere, Captain Coaster review

Also, Arrow Mine Trains have always had their charm, but I feel Adventure Express takes this another level with it’s theming and character.

CoasterJack, review

I’m only giving this 2.5 stars because it’s only a family coaster and nothing too special.
