  • The powerful launch into the darkness is one of the few launches that scares me.
  • I've been on a few launch coasters, but this one's launch is one of the most effective; I think it's because the ride is indoors and you're staring into straight darkness.
  • The first launch actually scared me a bit as well which was surprising.
  • Its theming is brilliant, featuring an alien hangar, a full-scare UFO, and a pre-show, thus making it feel like an R-rated sci-fi horror movie.
  • The theming all the way to the station is very well detailed and builds up lots of suspension.
  • The theming is great, especially the lights in sync with the video and the music, and the ride and launch are extremely fun!
  • Love being thrown around in the dark though. A good intense launch coaster in the dark.
  • First pullout feels completely crazy. Since it's in the dark I honestly have no idea what it is, but it feels totally rad.
  • This time around, I enjoyed the intensity and the surprises in the dark.

I don’t know if FoF also got new wheels or a similar refurbishment, but both rides feel to me much smoother this year than the last few years.

The uncharacteristically tight lap bar starts doing its work and jackhammers you in your seat, and after a few seconds of pain you brake to a halt.

Though I will admit, that the ride does have some shaking to it, so when I put my arms up, I started to get some headbanging where my head hit my arms.

It was intense especially the launch, I also like that last inversion at the end, some people may not like the MCBR but I don’t mind MCBR’s.

The launch is great and the inversions are very intense, but my enjoyment of it is ruined by the rattle, poor tracking, and inability to brace due to darkness.

The reason why I like the corkscrew so much is that when you go through it you go through it so fast and it whips you pretty hard, but not in the bad way.

...the day...the only 3 on the 1st launch!  Front seat for them, seat #2 for me.  We rode it 4 times in a row with no wait.  Could have rode it several more times but did Firehawk instead.  The kids...

The thrill of the indoor launch is the draw here - nothing about the rest of Flight of Fear warrants the long lines it consistently attracts.
