What riders love
  • They crush you into your seat and on a hot summer day make me gray out.
  • To me the true focus of the ride are the high G-Forces found at the two helices which will force you to grey out.
  • The g-forces are the strongest of any coaster I’ve ever been on.
  • The bottom of the first drop is awesome with the forces and tunnel.
  • The first drop is a fun moment that makes you realize how fast this coaster’s 85mph really is, and the “airtimeless hill” actually gave some good floater air.
  • I like the tunnel at the bottom too as it had a peculiar effect in the valley that made the drop more intense but I can't describe it.
  • My eyes had tears from the speed and the helixes were awesome!
  • Why so hated?? Titan might just be the biggest surprise I’ve had at a theme park in a while!
  • This was my first hyper coaster and is still one of my favorite roller coaster's that I have ridden.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Six Flags Over Texas

The first drop is a fun moment that makes you realize how fast this coaster’s 85mph really is, and the “airtimeless hill” actually gave some good floater air.

Kw6sTheater

The first two drops and airtime hill were wonderful and if that continued it would be a top tier ride.

David

Yo dive back down and experience a good floater airtime hill and the helix following is the highlight of the ride.

Joe Bord

While it’s not an airtime machine, It’s still pretty fun and I’d definitely recommend riding it.

Incredible Coasters

The first drop is cool...but after that, there’s not much airtime to speak of for a coaster of its height and layout.

Bifflesaurus

But it does have spectacular positive forces throughout and very comfortable trains.

Nathan F

It’s still a very smooth ride after over 20 years, and is my #2 park at Over Texas.

Carter M.

Super smooth and a great layout too.

Dennis van Rijswijk

It is amazing that Titan & Goliath can ride perfectly smooth with no rattle at all, while B&Ms are plagued by that dang rattle.

@OklahomaCoasterFan

Millennium Force is the better coaster of the two.....Titan is shorter (320’ to 245’) and slower and slightly rougher.

Jeff Elliott

I greyed out pretty badly twice and ended up with a headache for the rest of the day which skews my perception of the coaster.

Lake Lyon

The positives felt on both helixes were up there as the most intense element I’ve felt on a coaster (especially the second downward helix).

Max S.

The tight turn is packed with g-forces and I start to experience a little graying out just before the track flattens out.

Coaster Critic

But the added rising helix on Titan definitely gives it the clear edge in intensity, especially on a humid summer day in Texas.

Bryan Bonafede

I blacked out more and for longer than I-305, the break run was so violent as it completely stopped us, and it crawled through the rest of the course when I just wanted it to be over.

Nate Kunnen

It’s just as powerful as the famous blackout helix.

Incredible Coasters

Yes I greyed out twice but the screeching halt break run into an extremely slow banking drop is one of the silliest coaster elements of all time.

Blythe Troke

Huge fast first drop and first hill then hits your with 2 very intense helixes that will prolly make you grey out

XxMrHollywood

Titan is a beast, it has a really interesting positive G packed layout with some awesome speed.

Judah Boles

Were it not for the devastating Mid Course Break Run that was added due to blackout complaints years ago and the complete lack of theming on and around the ride, this coaster could have jumped into my...

James Rao

The midcourse fully stopping you is definitely a bother, as I am morbidly curious what the elimination of it would do to the ending spaghetti bowl/helix.

Tate Searcy

The lack of line truly shows that everyone realizes it just doesnt have the excitement you think it would by looking at its attractive silhouette.

Lauryn Najar

It also hardly has a long line, due to many people being too scared to do it, and due to it being extremely difficult to find.

Carter M.

We got near this thing and it was a ghost town which was quite perplexing because it dwarfed the entire park at the time.

Nate Kunnen

Much like the park it sits in, Titan is enjoyable *enough* with its normally shorter wait times, the novelty factor for its size (currently the largest in TX), and intensity; in fact, those who love...

Bifflesaurus

One other note, and maybe this is not normal, but the operations were SO slow.

There’s a guaranteed greyout on the helix and I find those old school forceless hyper drops charming.

Nate Kunnen, Captain Coaster review

Titan is one of the top 25 tallest roller coasters in the world, but the first drop gives no airtime, the turnaround is useless, and the airtime hill normally gives no airtime.

tate nortman, Captain Coaster review

Although this ride has barley any airtime, it still delivers with force, the helixes almost made me grey out, and they’re a great part to the ride.

Adrian Sokol, Captain Coaster review

The tight turn is packed with g-forces and I start to experience a little graying out just before the track flattens out.
