What riders love
  • It's not unbearably rough in the front, and is actually laugh out loud fun, likely because of the roughness.
  • This classic wood coaster delivers in a fun ride and a smooth one too.
  • Overall this is a fun family coaster and a good coaster for starters.
  • The location across the street from the rest of the park and next to the lake is awesome and there is some decent airtime moments.
  • I also just love how you get to cross under the road and out of the park to reach the station.
  • Every single hill has a crazy ejector kink at the end of it that sends you flying feet in the air due to the absurd amount of room that the restraints allow for.
  • All that said, you do have a lot of room to move, so when you get airtime, you lift out of your seat more than you expect. That part was a lot of fun.
  • The second hill gives good airtime no matter where you sit as it can be considered ejector airtime.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Six Flags Over Texas

The location across the street from the rest of the park and next to the lake is awesome and there is some decent airtime moments.

We have floater air.

Incredible Coasters

Thanks to the PTC restraints, you can get over a foot of room, and every single airtime hill has an ejector airtime kink that catapults you out of your seat.

Coaster Dog

It is a classic out and back layout with some decent airtime and nice headchoppers near the end.

Matthew Ebert

The ride had very weak to no airtime, tons of dead spots, and seemed to crawl over some of the "airtime hills".

coaster land

The bright side was how shockingly smooth this ride was for its age, I’ll give credit where it is due this was a butter smooth ride.

coaster land

Yeah, there’s a little bit of jackhammering at the bottom of the first drop, but it’s no big deal. We then rise into the first airtime hill, which doesn’t have any airtime.

Incredible Coasters

...due to its age and being a wooden coaster it just isn’t going to go unscathed in the aging department but can easily give headaches that remind me of the original version of the Texas Giant.

Lauryn Najar

Cute classic woodie that’s somewhat lacking in intensity, but somewhat makes up for it with charm.

Evangelion Martini

It’s not too intense and it has a height requirement of 42 inches.

Dylan

It was on 1 train ops and it was still a walk on,I had a lot of fun riding this, airtime is amazing, unfortunately,I choose to ride in the back row on almost every coaster I rode that day so the airtime...

This ride is smooth too, as you float over the airtime hill.

Joe Bord, Captain Coaster review

This was one of the most disappointing rides of my massive trip and I hate saying that but it’s simply true.

coaster land, Captain Coaster review

Nothing crazy, but a fun little out and back woodie that actually has some nice pops of airtime. If you have the time, give it a ride while visiting Six Flags Over Texas.

Incredible Coasters, published review

Every single hill has a crazy ejector kink at the end of it that sends you flying feet in the air due to the absurd amount of room that the restraints allow for.

Carter Eckhart, Captain Coaster review

This is the parks wooden coasters, one of the oldest coasters at the park, and it’s a fun little ride. I was expecting this to be a cruiser snoozer, but I actually had fun on this ride.
