What riders love
  • The best launch in the world no doubt, feels like teleporting across a launch track.
  • Since the noise (made by the compressed air) goes off in the tunnel, it sounds like you're breaking the sound barrier when you go through it.
  • The launch is so powerful it feels like your soul is still in the station by the time the ride is done.
  • The "fastest inversion of any coaster in the world" heartline roll is an experience in itself.
  • The inversions are spectacular and provide both hangtime and whippiness with my favorite being the 64 mph zero-g-roll.
  • The barrel roll is probably the best part of the ride.
  • The dog tongue has great hangtime, especially with just a lap bar.
  • The Dog Tongue (which is just a weird cobra roll) has amazing hangtime.
  • You get great hangtime on the dog’s tongue element and the heartline roll was super smooth.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Six Flags Great America

I love every component of this coaster but especially the dog tongue; it’s like floating on cloud nine and a great way to breathe after the intensity of the launch.

Ashley HanSolo Marie

directly after that i felt amazing positive g’s during that section where you go underneath the "airtime hill" and into the 60mph zero g roll, WHICH BY THE WAY feels like zero g lol.

@CarlosHernandez-rk3xp

The ride itself is butter smooth and absolutely phenomenal; however, they only run ONE train even during peak season!

Cal Schattschneider Jr.

Maxx Force’s zero-G roll - the fastest inversion in the world at 60 mph - is smooth like butter.

Coaster101

And incredible smooth ride and has a great barrel roll near the end.

Tristan Zamudio

It’s so forceful and smooth.

Limitless Park

it did give me a headache after, but I do get headache’s from most rides anyway.

Daniel Kravchenko

the launch is so ridiculously intense, every time it scares me so bad, but once you get to the top and start flying down its such an incredible experience.

aym333 ros333

It left me speechless, not fully able to comprehend the 23-second adrenaline rush.

Coaster101

Yes, the launch is insane, and perhaps the most intense I’ve ever been on, but the ride is just way too short.

I'm NotHere

Though it may be a short ride, it still packs a huge punch.

Limitless Park

Contrary to its name and S&S’ goal of making the craziest possible ride in the smallest amount of space, it isn’t really that forceful.

Evan G.

The fastest-accelerating coaster in the world does more with its layout than the other coaster that claims that title, but it still doesn’t do much.

Nathan

The 0-78 mph-in-1.8-seconds launch is blistering fast.

Coaster101

But the acceleration on Maxx Force just seems like the fastest I’ve ever experienced.

Stormin Norman

Though they do give you a great sense of speed and a little bit of upper body whip.

Aric The Kakapo

A short ride with a good layout, but it much of layout is underwhelming as the coaster has lost too much speed for the elements to truly hit.

JJ Vavrik

The brakes starting half way through the final inversion is disappointing; the park seems to have run out of space, preventing the brakes being only on a flat section.

Adam Rouhiainen

Guaranteed to be one of the slowest moving lines you will ever wait for, but still worth it.

TheClassicRemake Man

It’s an absolute beast and always well worth the wait.

Ashley HanSolo Marie

I waited about 45 mins and it was worth the wait lol such a intense feeling I’ll wait over and over to ride this again

@nellyvasquez9720

I went on this it was awesome totally worth the wait

@benkieffer793

I only got two rides on Maxx Force due to the hour long line (the capacity is extremely low) but WOW those two rides were amazing.

Beau

...most overrated ride here, the best part is the launch but after that the ride falls flat on its face and it’s over in 10 seconds, good luck waiting an hour for this crap as the capacity is abysmal.

Bertue Justin

On Stealth I said "Fastest acceleration in the world but my smooth brain can’t accept this beating a compressed air launch so when I finish my day at Six Flags Great America I’ll see which one’s faster." This is faster lmao

K681 Coasters, Captain Coaster review

This ride has a killer launch, but please why have they built these coasters that slam the final brake before the train has leveled out of the last element?

Mike Davis, Captain Coaster review

Yes, the launch is insane, and perhaps the most intense I’ve ever been on, but the ride is just way too short.

I'm NotHere, Captain Coaster review

I really like Maxx Force, but this is another ride that I can’t justify putting super high on my list solely because of how short it is.

HockeyNinja, Captain Coaster review

But for a coaster themed to racing (or at least branded as such), there is little if any reference to racing, race cars, etc.

Coaster101, published review

Probably the most overrated ride here, the best part is the launch but after that the ride falls flat on its face and it’s over in 10 seconds, good luck waiting an hour for this crap as the capacity is abysmal.
