What riders love
  • The wing-over drop is always fun, and the other inversions are also pretty enjoyable as well, especially the last one that goes through the control tower that's filled with hangtime.
  • Has a very good layout with amazing airtime on the first drop, and that near miss moment twisting through the ATC tower is one of the best near misses on any coasters.
  • On my last visit I rode in the front and the forces felt way stronger and I actually felt like I was gonna hit the tower.
  • It is butter smooth and the inversions are some of the best out there.
  • Without a doubt it is the smoothest, most efficiently operated & most comfortable ride in the park.
  • It’s probably the smoothest ride in the park and just so fun.
  • The reason I pick left is because that first drop starts so slow but flips you up compared to the right side flipping you down and the first drop feels way more intense than you would think for a 120 ft. tall coaster.
  • You start off with the classic wingover drop that gives great hang time.
  • It has excellent near miss elements, the first drop is incredible, and the inversions are all very intense.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Six Flags Great America

Has a very good layout with amazing airtime on the first drop, and that near miss moment twisting through the ATC tower is one of the best near misses on any coasters.

Ibraheem Mustafa

Really fun and smooth coaster with good airtime, but there isn’t a ton of intensity.

Rudania Salamander

...but it just has a charm just like on I305 they used to say "Racers, start your engines." And you also go through a building when doing a long corkscrew into a short helix to get really good airtime.

Brady Lew

This one is very floaty throughout the whole train.

Canobie Coaster

also it is the most smooth ride I have ever been on.I fell like it should be a bit longer because it ends too quickly.

Daniel Kravchenko

Overall the ride is smooth - as you might expect from B&M - but annoyingly suffers from an issue with the vest restraints which get ever tighter as the train makes its way around, meaning by the end...

Theme Park James

Without a doubt it is the smoothest, most efficiently operated & most comfortable ride in the park.

Kevin

there are some great near miss elements but it’s a little rattily and the vest restraints always staple you.

I really like coasters

There is certainly a rattle but nothing major, and outweighed by the ride experience.

Birb from not Canada

On my last visit I rode in the front and the forces felt way stronger and I actually felt like I was gonna hit the tower.

Roan Kyne

The ride finished with a nice helix that pulled some pretty good g-forces and then we reached the final brakes.

Coaster Critic

It has excellent near miss elements, the first drop is incredible, and the inversions are all very intense.

Rollertoaster

Solid wing coaster with some nice positives and inversions, especially that in-line twist is amazing.

Chermaine Streppel

There aren’t a ton of strong forces here, but a few of the inversions pack some solid punch, especially in the back.

Jay Van Linden

also the ride isn’t really intense and not the biggest pump of adrenaline but still this ride is one of the best.

Daniel Kravchenko

The pacing is good, and the elements are taken back to back with no dead spots.

Adam Rouhiainen

I find the harnesses to be way too tight and the train just crawls through the layout.

Cory Sanin

My first B&M wing, and while I don’t think it was quite worth waiting for almost an hour in the rain for, it was still a very enjoyable experience.

This ride is a great wing coaster with solid intensity, great near miss moments, and nice theming.

Mik Gov, Captain Coaster review

Maybe it’s because I rode Thunderbird and Wild Eagle this week as well, but X-flight did not meet my expectations.

Chris Coaster, Captain Coaster review

These are absolutely the tightest vests I’ve yet ridden on a B&M, and they ruin what would otherwise be one of the best Wing coasters in the world.

Eric Esty, Captain Coaster review

You start off with the classic wingover drop that gives great hang time.

Caiden Brauchler, Captain Coaster review

The wing position itself is cool in that it encourages re-rides since you do experience slightly different rides on different sides and ends of the train.

Coaster Critic, published review

I love this ride once I went on it I couldn’t stop, I knew this would be my favorite ride at the park.

Daniel Kravchenko, Captain Coaster review
