What riders love
  • The intensity on the pretzel loop is some of the craziest positive g's I've ever felt.
  • This inversion is one of the most intense elements on anything I have ever done.
  • That pretzel loop is insanley flipping intense and the rest of the ride is very fun.
  • The remaining layout is quite tame but it still gives a cool visual of flying through the trees near the front of the park.
  • The pretzel wanted to kill me, but otherwise, I was just in awe of what I could see.
  • Skipping Superman: Ultimate Flight should be a crime. Never do that!!
  • Smooth, and really gives the sensation of flying.
  • This one tracks very smoothly.
  • A very smooth and fun B&M.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Six Flags Great America

The rollercoaster itself rides superbly, being smooth yet forceful throughout and holds up well to multiple re-rides.

Theme Park James

This was maybe the third version of this cloned B&M flying coaster I have ridden but probably the most comfortable I have been on one, maybe because I was in the front row.

David

A very smooth and fun B&M.

Cal Schattschneider Jr.

Even though the capacity is far worse than the OG at Over Georgia, it does have more comfortable trains, as you can look forwards, in the flying position, without any struggle.

Aric The Kakapo

...a lot better in the front row, layout seems pretty good overall though but I found my legs to be hurting a bit by the time I got off not probably not helped by a recent ankle injury but my point...

Kaby Ben

It offers the gentle, floaty inversions for which the genre is known, combined with the unbridled intensity of the pretzel loop.

Michael M.

Its signature element is a 78ft tall pretzel loop, which generates some large positive G-forces that would become uncomfortable if they went on for too much longer but on Superman are the perfect...

Theme Park James

The pretzel loop is a bit on the smaller scale compared to the more known flyers but it still packs quite a bit of intensity.

Max S.

I grayed out pretty hard in the pretzel loop.

Brian Sheldon

As for the actual ride, it could definitely benefit from one more inversion, since the turns are pretty forceless and boring.

Cal Schattschneider Jr.

I sat in the front and sure I got so scared going up but don’t focus on other things and the way down is fun and fast.

@krathx2800

Unfortunately I think B&M let that golden sand slip through their fingers by just baking in way way too much dead time on this thing.

Mike Davis

The rest is a little dead but the inversions and helix are solid.

Ibraheem Mustafa

Has by far the best operations of any flying coaster I’ve seen, barely stacking at all.

Birb from not Canada

Operations aren’t the best on this ride, quite a bummer, but if you have the unlimited fast pass (lucky you...!) definitely go so many times!!!

Kevin

Very skippable, as the line is out in the uncovered sun and doesn’t move very fast.

David, Captain Coaster review

But the upside down loop is such an amazing element its the main reason I still ride it.

Ayden Acheson, Captain Coaster review

While this was my first flying coaster, which is a cool model, and I enjoyed my initial ride, in hindsight I was kind of underwhelmed by it.

VelociGOAT, Captain Coaster review

The one thing I do want to say is that it starts with the best part of the ride with the pretzel loop and tones down a lot from there.
