This thing is fast! Relentlessly wild too!
What riders love
  • The wave turn delivers some strong sideways airtime that is a truly awesome sensation.
  • Element after element, sharp turns, insane ejector all back to back without any meandering.
  • I have a bias towards wooden coasters, but this has some of the strongest airtime on any of them in general.
  • That first drop is crazy, especially at night diving into the black void of the woods!!
  • The first drop threw me out of my seat, and so did the first inversion.
  • It’s SO good and has one of the best first drops out there.
  • In the back as the rest of the train is rolling into the break run you are still hanging.
  • Intensity and pacing are elite, and the last heartline roll is incredible.
  • The first drop is spectacular and the double barrel roll is so sick.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Silver Dollar City

The back though, seems to be way more airtime, the ride is wanting to pull you out, which is a great feeling when you are not going anywhere.

Coaster Critic

But during my later rides, it flew through the woods with relentless pacing, giving ejector airtime through an aggressive ride experience.

Drive Safely

The airtime moments are good, but fairly average, mainly due to the ride’s tendency to staple riders easily.

NorCal Coaster Media

The drop was magical and on the wave turns, you got airtime which was really exhilarating.

Outlaw Run Fanboy

Airtime was crap average and it felt boring compared to other RMCs.

Monsoon

If you’re in a non-wheel seat, there still a wood coaster feel but by no means rough or uncomfortable.

Brendan Keller

Outlaw Run completely inverted us in a smooth and quick motion.

Coaster Critic

It was shaky and had a rattle yes but not to the point of discomfort and it took away from the ride, if anything I quite liked that aspect of it a lot.

Brisk Shark

The first drop was also amazing until we got to the bottom and my back cracked and I was in pain the rest of the ride.

skittles

The valley following delivers some intense positives before a twisted airtime hill with great ejector and a burst of laterals at the end.

Derek

From the first drop to the brake run, the coaster does not let up!

Coaster Critic

The massive wave turns that make you 90 degrees to the ground and the double corkscrew provides a massive thrill unlike any other coaster

Outlaw Run Fanboy

The speed, drop, spinny thing that I forgot the name of, and the air blowing straight in your face really intensifies this ride and I enjoy it!

Matt Kro

Was my first RMC and was surprised with how good it was, while it is short and has a slight rattle it makes up for it with airtime, intensity and a great pace

Ryan L.

Packs quite a punch with both airtime and intensity with a slight rattle honestly not affecting the ride much.

TheClassicRemake Man

The drop is so steep it looks like you go inwards, you reach maximum speed very quickly, and maintain it throughout the ride till the barrel rolls.

Coaster Critic

The first one is taken fast and keeps you in your seat, while the second one is taken slowly and gives some nice hang time!

PiratePenguin2

Has been responsible for one of the best rides of my life, summer of 2018 with the foliage grown in, train running FAST.

Kittyhat

It rips through thst course so fast you can barely feel the roughness, and the first ever coaster to invert I ever rode.

Ephram Nelson

Loses a little pace at the end going into the double rolls as well, but it acts a bit of a stall with fun hang time .

Glass Cannonn

I went on it today sadly, it was a 40 minute wait but it was totally worth the wait many twists and turns and an 81° 162ft drop with a double barrel roll it is epic!

@caleb8397

I wish it was longer but it definitely was worth the wait.

@mckenziemillers

We visted SDC on an unxepectedly busy Thursday (Oklahoma fall break?) and it was a WALK ON nearly an hour after the park opened.

Bifflesaurus

Not every RMC needs to be SteVe and short lines enabled high re-ridability.

Sean Reardon

Has bad capacity when only running one train but this ride isn’t very popular so it’s fine.

Noah Sanchez
Height fear

I was scared to pieces but It was fun.

Noah Eastwood

I’m afraid of heights, but this ride was worth it.

@littleghost777
Motion sickness risk

I was literally dizzy when I got off this ride

@TylerMarieW

First time I rode this, I had to sit down on a bench for half an hour lol.

Richard Aldridge

Should I ride it?

Criticised for

Rough or rattlyToo shortRider fit issues

I have a bias towards wooden coasters, but this has some of the strongest airtime on any of them in general.

Matt Whaley, Captain Coaster review

Decent effort by RMC, and the layout is both beautiful and fun, but the roughness kept me from remembering that this coaster got the topper track treatment not long ago.

Parker Davidson, Captain Coaster review

since the first drop, Everything was insane from the hang time on the first stall from the airtime moments right into the double barrel roll, it was perfect!

Coasterpedia, Captain Coaster review

The press releases touted 9 moments of those sought after joyous moments we call “airtime” and that’s not just marketing buzz, they’re all there.

Coaster Critic, published review

I rode this for my very first time in the back row on a wheel seat with those terrible lap bars.

skittles, Captain Coaster review

If it were Ibox, Outlaw Run would be in my top 15, but considering its roughness on wheel seats, I have to put it back.
