What riders love
  • The 7 inversions just seem to keep coming forever. They are all excellent.
  • Kraken is a solid B&M Foorless containing multiple inversions that sends you upside down in what feels like every way possible.
  • The zero-g roll and dive loop personally stand out to me, as the dive loop gives great forces and the zero-g roll gives awesome floater.
  • It’s pretty intense, I greyed out at least 5 times!
  • Super whippy inversions and the ride is absolutely riddled with greyout positive moments from start to finish.
  • The first half is full of large elements that you fly through where you either get pushed into your seat or whipped side to side.
  • I love how it dives underneath the ground in the second half!
  • The final dive into the tunnel and corkscrew was an amazing ending to the ride!
  • I'm a sucker for rides that dive into trenches like this one does, so that makes me like it even more.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at SeaWorld Orlando

I remember feeling more airtime and intensity on Kraken’s straight drop than the typical swooping drops found on so many B&M-designed coasters.

Coaster Critic

The zero-g roll and dive loop personally stand out to me, as the dive loop gives great forces and the zero-g roll gives awesome floater.

Birb from not Canada

There was a surprisingly high amount of airtime for a looper though.

Michael M.

Sitting in the back row even gives you a bit of airtime on the drop.

Coaster101

For instance, there is an extreme lack of airtime.

Limitless Park

After riders board the relatively comfortable trains, the floor pulls away, the train is dispatched, and it begins its trip up the lift hill.

Coaster Critic

This ride is awesome, though many say this ride is rough and uncomfortable, so i listed that as a con, but my rides were pretty smooth.

Coaster Key

By no means is it horrible, but with the over the shoulder restraints there is a little head banging.

Limitless Park

Just your typical inversion spam coaster with roughness, way worse than Hulk this one though, closer to Dragon Khan (not as bad but still).

Jack H

I really like the large straight first drop unlike most floorless coasters and every inversion has some crazy positives and/or whip.

Cooper Zimmerman

It’s much tighter than the opening loop and the g-forces are great.

Coaster Critic

The ride is intense, relatively smooth and action packed.

Limitless Park

I almost blacked out in the valley between the vertical loop and immelmann and just couldn’t enjoy the rest of the ride with that and the roughness.

StealthConstruction

The first half is full of large elements that you fly through where you either get pushed into your seat or whipped side to side.

Chris Jones

It has an exceptional first drop, forceful inversions, and has great pacing from beginning to end, and I love the divising into trenches in the second half.

Eric Esty

You already have some speed, but you’ll get pulled over a little faster in the back.

Limitless Park

The inversions on the ride are very good, The cobra roll is awesome and you HAULED through it!

Coaster Key

Good pace through the elements, fun amounts of forces, a nice sprinkling of whip, all coming together to create a great all around rollercoaster, and while not in the prettiest location, the new paint...

Slovis Celery

A couple spots are dead spots though and it has a slight rattle but its relatively smooth.

Keegan M.

Of course, a four across B&M model will have outstanding capacity and this is no exception with zero wait time.

Max S.

It’s a very fun and intense B&M looper, that always has a 5 minute wait.

Simon Hickey

A very solid looper, it has short lines and cool theming but suffers from the infamous b and m rattle it has held up far better than i would have thought for a florida b and m thats nearly 30

Danny Miller

This should be a capacity monster with 3 8x4 trains, but for some reason they were only running 1 train on it when I was there, despite a pretty significant wait.

Michael M.

I opted out of the VR when I went, but it slows down operations soo much !

Samantha P.
Motion sickness risk

(For all those asking out there, no, it wasn’t nauseating.)

Orlando Informer

from someone who gets nauseous super easy, ive never had trouble with this ride, and rode it back to back with zero issues.

Its inversions are some of the most intense in Orlando but this is not an early-morning ride as it does thrash you around

Alanah Reeve, Captain Coaster review

SeaWorld Orlando may have more B&M coasters than any other theme park in the world, and this one is easily the worst one due to it’s age.

Basil Robinson, Captain Coaster review

unfortunately there is a rattle present, and with it being a standard looper it is standing on a bottom tier in the rides lineup.

smacd, Captain Coaster review

It offers a thrilling ride that includes seven loops that are experienced without pummeling your head very much, if at all.

Coaster Critic, published review

Without spoiling too much, I have to say that the VR makes the already great first drop of Kraken even _better_!

Coaster101, published review

You get a smattering of very good B&M inversions with no particular rhyme or reason.
