What riders love
  • The first top hat gives mad ejector, and my bottom did not touch the seat through the entire element.
  • Regardless, this coaster is EXCELLENT, it has multiple airtime moments where I legitimately had to grab the harness because I was worried I might slip out (I usually keep my hands up, so I mean this in a good way).
  • So many airtime hills, and each one of them gives such violent airtime.
  • Maybe it was because I was seated farther back in the train than when I rode the yellow side, but the launch on the green side was punch-in-the-stomach forceful, and a ton of fun.
  • This ride genuinely was so surprising because the launch started weak, then it got super powerful by the end, same with the second launch.
  • You just get pushed in your seat like no other coaster does.
  • During the celestial spin, seeing the other train rotate around you, while inverted, feels almost like an out of body experience. Magical is truly the best word to describe it.
  • Last row not only amplifies the air time, but also gives you the best dueling view where you almost feel like you could be having a conversation with the competition riding on the side.
  • Dueling rides don't get more fun than this.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Universal Epic Universe

the entire ride is just powerful airtime moment after powerful airtime moment, with some good positives and good launches thrown in there too.

SnowyShores

The end of the layout is full of airtime, and when the trains hit the brakes, everyone on both trains had a huge smile on their face.

Coaster101

The rest is basically like every B&M hyper (I know it’s Mack) just airtime on airtime.

Alexander Sims

Finally, the green side offers some crazy ejectors, especially after the first launch and when it goes under the airtime hill on the other side.

roller rider

The queue had a great spacey/modern theme and an amazing amount of airtime.

Luca Ferratusco

If you like a hyper coaster that has the floating air time, you’re going to love Stardust Racers.

Theme Park Brandon

The airtime is both powerful and comfortable, the trains are beautiful, the launches are intense, and the soundtrack perfectly ties it all together.

Zach Payne

The twisted hills and airtime pops are surprisingly strong, but still glossy smooth.

Coaster101

Great coaster super smooth.

Megan KE

Being completely egg my honest my first rides I was so underwhelmed - there was an uncomfortable rattle and just didn’t live up to the hype.

Charlie Lewis

I rode green in the rain, and it was so intense that it started to hurt, but I haven’t felt pain that actually felt good in that long, so it was definitely my favorite ride experience!

Taco Toucan

Incredible air time, great drops, great launches with incredible sustained forces especially with how steep the launch hills are.

RetiredLlama

The top hats are a great element, with it’s most impactful moment being at the bottom of the drop, it gives a very tight pull-up into the next hill, doling out some great forces.

Coaster101

The intensity was definitely there and the launches were epic with slowing down and speeding up during the launch!

Luca Ferratusco

It then enters lots of turnarounds and passes, which are intense, and you hit the brakes, ending your 5,000 foot long ride.

Brandon L.

This was less intense than the Green track, but I found myself enjoying it just as much as the other.

Alexia Englund

A near clone of the other side, fast insane airtime and a good inversion, i like this one a tiny bit less than the other side it just had a slightly less powerful inversion.

Danny Miller

Stardust Racers is a top-tier dueling launch coaster it’s fast, smooth, and always building speed.

Stormin Norman

It was whippy, fast and I had no idea what was going on.

Rubber Ducker

Great speed and pacing, beautiful dueling.

RetiredLlama

There’s some solid airtime to be found, but the trains slow to a crawl at the top of some of the hills.

Art V.

Was underwhelmed by the slower morning ride, but at sunset to night, the ride really shined.

Jhett Ohira

And apart from the period after a downtime, the ops on this, even at night time, are insane (and what a sight as a night time coaster)

Claire & James Daniels

but the inversion is mid and this ride is overall very overhyped and it is worth the short line though.

Collin Archer

Stardust Racers is my girlfriend’s favorite rollercoaster :) we rode three times in one day (green once, yellow twice because the line was shorter)

Joshua Gablin

It also looks insane at night, has great onboard audio, and has incredible capacity (they were running 4 PER SIDE at once!?).

Ryan Armstrong

As a whole, this is by far one of the best roller coasters in the universe (hehe) and is not to be missed, despite generally having decently-sized queues.

This is the greatest ride of all time punchy launches strong airtime and on top of that is duels with onboard audio and the celestial spin is incredible🙌 .

Maxwell Zephirin, Captain Coaster review

The line was so short coming in, but it took over an hour because they release the cars with only one person.

Desmond Camell, Captain Coaster review

Going into it this ride looked like everything I wanted in a coaster sadly it was disappointing still a great ride but does not really live up to the hype.

Collin Archer, Captain Coaster review

The launches is quite unique: the start is punchy, then it let’s it foot off the gas, and then it has another powerful burst halfway through.

GLaDOS, Captain Coaster review

Both are equally fun, but I slightly prefer yellow because seeing the train above you before inverting provides two thrilling sights in short succession.

Coaster101, published review

The queue had a great spacey/modern theme and an amazing amount of airtime.
