Jersey Devil Coaster has a ton of airtime and whip, so much that it genuinely caught me off guard in a good way, but it is surprisingly rough.

...day at six flags ever, and this was my last ride I rode on and it was well worth the waiting line, caught airtime, it was smooth, fast, and just enjoyable overall, just wish it was a little longer!

It mostly felt like filler elements and the airtime was pretty weak throughout, the drop as well as the dive loop and stall were pretty fun but that was mostly about it.

The main things that give it the edge over it’s SFMM counterpart are it’s pretty location and the fact that it was much smoother, which I always appreciate.

There is unfortunately assigned seating meaning you don’t choose where you want to sit and the hills can thrash you around on the ride.

I know I found it a bit necessary after how intense the rest of the layout was, but I definitely felt like it could’ve done more things with the second half of its layout.

If Six Flags and RMC’s intent was to create a less extreme, crowd-pleasing Raptor over the white-knuckle, intense experience of the prototypes, then they certainly succeeded.

The first near 90 degree drop is amazing and the coaster absolutely flies through its layout otherwise, with some awesome inversions and tight turns.

Capacity was not an issue on the day I went as the lines were short (not surprising in November.) The first drop is great.
