What riders love
  • The vertical lift is always scary and the drop has some decent airtime on it.
  • The first drop is very fun and I actually didn't mind the vertical lift hill, which is something I usually quite dislike.
  • First drop is obviously going to be great when it's beyond vertical.
  • My favorite moment is for sure the final roll where you get some whip and some hangtime.
  • The best inversion, in my opinion, is the slow barrel roll, which offers excellent hangtime.
  • especially the last barrel roll, that one has some ridiculous airtime.
  • Amazingly smooth for its age with great theming, tons of inversions, a vertical drop, and a trip through a tunnel.
  • The ride on the rails is buttery smooth, though.
  • You would be happy to know that this ride is probably one of the, if not the smoothest ride in the park.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Six Flags Over Georgia

I was gently pushed forward out of my seat, but I didn’t experience much of that sinking stomach feeling you associate with big drops.

Coaster Critic

The first drop does offer a pop of airtime in the back and it has pretty good pacing with the inversions.

Michael M.

especially the last barrel roll, that one has some ridiculous airtime.

Jamie Óchi

The vertical lift is always scary and the drop has some decent airtime on it.

Joe Bord

When you clear the trim, you finally drop and get a lil pop of air.

Aric The Kakapo

The beyond vertical drop is a solid gimmick and offers a nice burst of ejector airtime mixed with a drop sensation.

Roller Coasters of Thailand

This was a lot of fun and much more comfortable to ride than the looping B&Ms but it’s just too short a layout with terribly slow operations and tiny trains.

David

It was also one of the smoothest coasters I’ve ever ridden.

Brendan Keller

Amazingly smooth for its age with great theming, tons of inversions, a vertical drop, and a trip through a tunnel.

Myroslav

Very smooth and quiet ride but is a great ride experience.

Jack Jack J.

One ride i had which i assume didn’t have trims gave me such strong airtime that i litteraly bruised my legs best drop but most times it’s a 7/10

@johnjohny1

I don’t know if beyond vertical drops always have a strange rattle/jurk to them but dare devils was kind of hard to ignore.

Ednor L Attaque Never did it

The inversions and valleys are intense and there’s a lot of weird and surprising moments and forces.

Carter Eckhart

The first half is pretty aggressive with some crazy whip especially through the first inversion.

Nathan F

Another super intense ride here, very fun drop and fun roll at the end.

Darcy

Great first drop and has some decently forceful moments.

Zach S.

it’s a smaller version of Universal’s Rip Ride Rocket and lacks the intensity of that ride.

Sean Reardon

The ride has a good sense of speed in the beginning, but even when the midcourse barely hits the ending is a little slow.

MapleFlakes

Being just a single car, momentum is lost incredibly quickly, so after the first drop, which is more confusing than thrilling, the inversions lack any real weight to them.

Taylor Williams

Unfortunately on my second visit here, it was closed all day and when it was open last year the line moved at an embarrassing pace.

Birb from not Canada

Don’t let the unholy capacity distract you from the fact that this ride has a grand total of two good elements and totally peaces out in between them.

Bryan Bonafede
Height fear

The first drop was nowhere near as intense as I thought it would be, and the restraint is basically a lap bar, which felt unsafe (but it is) but it was really fun.

Worth the queue

Although it usually has a long wait it is usually worth it.

zachary v.

Long wait due to low capacity, and frankly not worth the wait.

Michael M., Captain Coaster review

Very short and it ends before you can really enjoy the ride.

Zia Border, Captain Coaster review

The beyond-vertical drop after the vertical lift hill is a great start to the ride, and I found myself very much enjoying the experience.

Sam Dickson, Captain Coaster review

Aiden, Captain Coaster review

The roll was taken so slowly that I hung upside-down for what felt like forever.
