What riders love
  • consistently good airtime, runs very well, and i adore its location, being straight up on the beach.
  • What makes up for this ride experience however is the location since this wooden roller coaster is actually located on a beach & it adds on to the experience.
  • The layout is a bit meh but I love how it feels with the ocean breeze and you can see bats when you ride it at night!
  • The drops are fun, and it kinda picks up speed in the 2nd half which was cool.
  • The turnarounds were relatively smooth and fun and the whole ride just has a sort of grace to it with the swoop into the final brakes.
  • It's definitely worth riding if you're at the Wildwood Boardwalk.
  • I like the drop right out of the station and the layout is decent.
  • But the drop did deliver some decent floater airtime forces.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Morey's Piers

There are multiple great airtime pops going off the turnarounds and on the final run of hills, this ride has amazing laterals, and it’s very smooth.

Beau

But the drop did deliver some decent floater airtime forces.

Nicolas Mattioli

I love it for nostalgia reasons more but it has decent airtime and isn’t TOO rough although some of the turns are a little jank.

Catboy

I mostly rode near the back about 3 times and the thing I liked the most other than the unusual views of the beach were the wonderful floating airtime on each drop.

David

It gives a good pop of ejector airtime up front and a solid but weaker ejector pop in the back.

Canobie Coaster

consistently good airtime, runs very well, and i adore its location, being straight up on the beach.

Jamie Óchi

I mean of course it was a little you know bumpy because that’s how all wooden roller coasters are but it still was very smooth.

Coliwood Archives

I liked this coaster more with the PTC Trains, but it’s still solid now even with Millennium Flyers, albeit a lot rougher.

Anthony DeNight Jr.

This ride is decent and has an amazing location but those new trains made the ride rough the second valley after the first turn brace for it you go side to side in a bad way

Ashton Matheny

Rode it with an almost empty train and early in the day, attributes which I’m sure contributed to its mildness.

Adam Tortorello

It’s not super intense but it’s a wonderful coaster.

David

The drop right out of the station is a great touch and you really move fast through the tunnel under the boardwalk into the lift hill to the point some riders were screaming down there.

David

-The drops are fun, and it kinda picks up speed in the 2nd half which was cool.

The T.

And as soon as the drop hit and the train was going through the layout, I was shocked how fast this ride was running, it felt out of control.

@bukemdukem1870

Overall, Great White delivers an enjoyable ride experience, despite some dead spots and the weak floater airtime forces.
