What riders love
  • This ride delivers so much intensity especially at the back row, that pull down from the second inversion of the roll over is absolutely unforgettable, and mostly the double in line twist that never gets old every ride I get!
  • In my opinion, The Great Nor’easter suspended looping coaster delivers a great experience with a great amount of intensity, snappy inversions, and great pacing.
  • While it wasn't quite as smooth as the B&M inverts, it was just as intense and fun.
  • The beginning of the inline twists might be the best part, with a good whippy feeling, which is the polar opposite of the pain of Arrow corkscrew entrances, despite looking similar.
  • It provides solid inversions and top tier near misses.
  • I love the pacing and the variety of inversions.
  • Not glass smooth, but WAY WAY WAY smoother than any other Vekoma SLC.
  • Smooth and actually quite fun.
  • The vest restraints are comfortable and the ride is mostly smooth.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Morey's Piers

Despite the slight rattle the ride may have, it’s actually surprisingly pretty smooth, especially in the back row.

Nicolas Mattioli

Not glass smooth, but WAY WAY WAY smoother than any other Vekoma SLC.

Anthony DeNight Jr.

the most comfortable SLC I’ve been on in my life.

Philip Belcher

There was still a bit of vibrating, and transitions that aren’t as good as other top manufacturers, but this was quite good on the whole.

Blake Stoudt

My head was so violently thrown (and yes I had it back) that my neck was sore for about 2 weeks afterward.

@matthiscox2222

Like boomerangs, there are good, intense moments entering/exiting the inversions and valleys, the sensations depend on which end of the train you sit towards.

Blake Stoudt

In my opinion, The Great Nor’easter suspended looping coaster delivers a great experience with a great amount of intensity, snappy inversions, and great pacing.

Nicolas Mattioli

The first drop provides a great gut punch, while the rollover has some absurdly strong Gs.

Beau

It’s a good Vekoma SLC, and has a lot of intensity without too much rattle.

David

This is the zoom flume or the log flume and from here you’re going to go into the best and most intense part of the ride.

Accelerated Creative

It makes sense to name the ride after a storm of this power due to the intense nature of throwing you around.

RADZADproductions

I love the pacing and the variety of inversions.

Kristofer Wempa

First of all, it HAULS through it’s layout.

Motion sickness risk

Road this 6 times in a row, got off and puked right away.

@mikehawk9920

I went on this ride in 2014 during the summer and it was terrible, my head was hitting the side and i got intense nausea :(
