What riders love
  • This ride is great, especially for a Dinn corp. coaster, with a lot of floater airtime.
  • The next section includes 3 speed hills recently redone by gravity group precut track and they all give violent ejector pops.
  • Getting launched from the jack hammering on actual airtime hills lead to some of the silliest ejector airtime on any coaster.
  • However, the first half of this ride was a pleasant surprise for how smooth it was and for the decent pops of airtime!
  • Most of the coaster has been retracked by GCI or the Gravity Group, making it much smoother and more airtime heavy.
  • After this is the finale which is unlike anything else I’ve experienced on any coaster and my favorite part of the ride without a doubt.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Michigan's Adventure

There is good airtime to be found here - in fact I have this ride over Phoenix - but brace yourself for a rough ride, especially during the 2nd half.

Justin Lininger

However, the first half of this ride was a pleasant surprise for how smooth it was and for the decent pops of airtime!

Chris Frechette

Getting launched from the jack hammering on actual airtime hills lead to some of the silliest ejector airtime on any coaster.

Coaster Dog

At the beginning it is relatively smooth with above average airtime but the second half of the ride is the most forceless part of any non kiddie coaster in the park.

Zach Puckett

There’s no airtime into this turn, but since it’s smaller than the first two, it actually offers some laterals.

Canobie Coaster

Most of the coaster has been retracked by GCI or the Gravity Group, making it much smoother and more airtime heavy.

Calvin

The airtime was insane the whole ride, and it was smooth until the very end of the ride.

Connor Malone

Unfortunately the rest ride is built around repeatedly punching you in the gut making the whole experience rather painful.

Tom Fairnie

Sometimes the rattle is fine, but at other times it feels like the train is about to fall right off the track.

Brendan B.

I found this one to be way too intense and scary for me at the time, and I didn’t ride any more roller coasters until June of 2000.

@kagome122885

Boring, devoid of force, a boring layout, and a structure that creaks as the train goes along at a trudgingly slow pace.

Eric Esty

Wolverine Wildcat serves as a more family friendly adult wood coaster in this park.

Canobie Coaster

I recall the ride being fairly boring during my initial rides early in the day, but I rode it again at the end of the day and the ride was significantly faster and the airtime much stronger.

@Mythyval

Last time I was here, they were running one train, and it was a walk-on all day.

Justin Lininger, Captain Coaster review

Even on a smooth non wheel seat, this coaster still manages to be a pile of rotting wood.

Coaster Dog, Captain Coaster review

It has an amazing layout that I feel like is inspired by one of my favorite coasters, Phoenix at Knoebels.

Silver Thunderbolt, Captain Coaster review

Most of the coaster has been retracked by GCI or the Gravity Group, making it much smoother and more airtime heavy.
