Performance

Vs. other coasters at Michigan's Adventure

It’s intense, and it’s pretty smooth compared to other suspended coasters I’ve ridden.

Silver Thunderbolt

That’s not to say that it’s smooth or particularly comfortable, because it’s not, but as long as you ride defensively to avoid headbanging, its not that bad.

Lucas M.

An SLC with the hard harnesses which while not as bad as limits harness still causes headaches as the ride bashes you into the restraints with each uncomfortable transition.

Tom Fairnie

As soon as we’re finished with the second barrel roll, the ride suddenly transitions from its most intense moments to the most dull and pointless.

Roller Coaster Philosophy

The ride is very intense in the front.

Zach Puckett

This is easily my favorite part of the ride, as the two barrel rolls (#5, each) are extremely rapid fire and fast-paced; very disorienting stuff. I especially love sitting on the right side, there are...

For a Vekoma SLC, this is a surprisingly smooth and comfortable ride experience.

Lucas M., Captain Coaster review

Not a awful ride but not good by all means rode it my whole childhood because it’s my home park but god the slcs suck it’s okay sometimes but other than that it’s awful.

Eurial W, Captain Coaster review

Unfortunately the front has a rattle but the back is great for Gs

Alexander Sims, Captain Coaster review

It’s intense, and it’s pretty smooth compared to other suspended coasters I’ve ridden.

Silver Thunderbolt, Captain Coaster review

After our first ride, he declared that it was awesome and wanted to ride it immediately again. My younger cousin loved it as well.

Roller Coaster Philosophy, published review

I always get of this ride with what feels like a mild concussion, though it is probably one of the better SLCs.
