What riders love
  • The structure is truly breathtaking at night.
  • It has wonderful theming and it’s very immersive as you are digitized into the world of Tron.
  • Bright lights flash past, energy portals appear around every turn, and the immersive soundtrack amplifies every moment of the experience.
  • I LOVE the aggressive bike sitting position. It made the first launch feel incredible.
  • the launch was a whole lot more forceful than i expected it to be.
  • The launch from 0-90 km/h in four seconds is the biggest highlight and it definitely makes this coaster a lot more fun!!
  • Then you reach the indoor section, which is in complete darkness - you pass through the checkpoints, racing against the other teams of bikers in an exhilarating race with fast, twisting turns in complete darkness.
  • the indoor racing section is immersive and thrilling, racing around in the dark through the lit up checkpoints, against the other teams, turning around in the pitch black was an unmissable experience.
  • I could ride this all day even if the rest of the park had 5 minute lines.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Magic Kingdom

The twisted drops give decent airtime and laterals simultaneously and the ascents give floater airtime.

Dylan

...is surprisingly fast, having an extra kick to it because of the Lightcycle trains, and the outdoor section does the best at providing a floaty sensation that brings out the best in the ride vehicle.

I'm NotHere

Also I seem to be the only person in the world who thought that the ride cars were comfortable, but I did.

Emile P.

An extremely fun coaster that is incredibly smooth and has a fantastic launch.

Casey Maymon

While it definitely is a bit short it has some good speed and vekoma absolutely nailed the smoothness.

Noahidk

I heard the ride was uncomfortable, and I couldn’t disagree more.

David Selleck

however, the restraint is uncomfortable, but freeing, as if you were on a motorbike with your hands free, but is harsh on the back.

gegg

I actually think this is the best coaster at Disney World - it’s shockingly forceful, has unique theming, and blasts Daft Punk in your ear.

uhhh roller coasters

After the intense overbank, you float up to a harsh set of trims while entering the building.

Cam Mooers

(Was originally built in China, smaller people) but the launch is so cool and the intensity you feel is great.

Isaac

the turn was really cool and pretty forceful too.

smacd

...best elements on a family coaster the rest of the layout is quite forgettable because of the lack of forces and it is annoying with the amount of mid course break runs but the second half certainly...

Arthur Roberts

The lightcycle seating is difficult to figure out, but once you’re strapped in, the launch and subsequent ride is thrilling, fast, and exciting.

Sarah

Suddenly, I was racing through the iconic outdoor canopy at incredible speed.

MandyH2024

...abstract marquee looks really neat, especially with the intricate lighting package, the launch is surprisingly fast, having an extra kick to it because of the Lightcycle trains, and the outdoor...

I'm NotHere

The first launch feels very fast for what it is, and the ride vehicle helps with that.

George Branum

The brake run at the entrance of the building at the start of the inside zone COMPLETELY kills all of the speed that the launch gave.

Thomas Silva

The mid-course brake runs do disrupt the flow.

Canobie Coaster

A train is being sent out every 30-45 seconds, and keeps the line moving constantly.

Brandon Gorgone

I saw so much hype for it that I expected it to be much longer but we waited an hour for it and it definitely wasn’t worth that long of a line.

Alexia Englund

i had a fun time riding Tron but they 10000000000000% should have made it 242865436853157863 times longer especially given the fact I waited 85 minutes to ride it.

Criticised for

Too shortLong waitsWeak layoutRider fit issues

Great Ride, one of my favorite coasters at WDW, but it’s way too short, if it had one more helix or some maneuver, the overall ride would improve a lot

João Spegiorin, Captain Coaster review

The wait time was crazy (about 90 mins) and the ride was over too fast.

Matt Heap, Captain Coaster review

The ride very quickly slows down the second you go back indoors, and then the rest of the ride is basically just banked turn drops.

Richard Aldridge, Captain Coaster review

Really good launch but too intense for a family coaster and too weak for a thrill coaster I like the themeing and motorbike seating but it’s way too short

Hangtime and Hills, Captain Coaster review

Suddenly, I was racing through the iconic outdoor canopy at incredible speed.

MandyH2024, review

The “look” and theming of this coaster couldn’t be any better.
