Performance

Vs. other coasters at Luna Park

The trains are quite comfortable, but the ride has a fairly consistent rattle, making some of the turns feel quite bizarre.

Will B

This ride was actually pretty good but there are some parts that just feel boring on this ride, I feel like this ride would be a good starter for kids but the ride is actually pretty smooth.

Melissa Gaiser

I also banged my knee really badly on the plastic shell of the horses on the trains--watch out for that.

Malcolm Fenville

The turns are a bit jerky, but it is a great ride considering its small footprint and height.

Matt K

For a family coaster, it has a pretty forceful launch followed by a really intense turn, but the rest of the ride is quite repetitive and forceless.

Will B

The launch was surprisingly intense.

David W.

Following the launch is an equally surprisingly intense upward banked turn to the max height of the ride.

user g.

Steeplechase is a surprisingly intense accelerator coaster.

Matt K

Basically everything after the launch was one long dead spot, as the rest of the layout consists of meandering around some mild banked turns.

Erik C.

This was super fun , the launch is actually faster then shown on camera my grandma wig feel off on this ride #goodmemeories

Airtime

there are no steep drops or airtime hills, so there are no real positive or negative forces.

Erik C.

And the forces and airtime at the top are also really good to, so good in fact that you forget how crappy your restraint is.

Will B, Captain Coaster review

It’s actually pretty thrilling and I love the launch so much.

Jonas, Captain Coaster review

This ride has a deceptively powerful hydraulic launch in the beginning that catches you off guard.

user g., Captain Coaster review

But the real fun started when you got to the end of the ride and the clowns wacked you in the rear end, or the gals walked over the air vent that blew up!!

@JohnMB, review

That burst of speed was amazing and it was fun throughout the whole thing.
