Performance

Vs. other coasters at Six Flags Great Escape

The vertical loop is pretty fun and relatively smooth but the corkscrews… they were so awful and uncomfortable.

Lucas Tikkala-Cutler

You then smack your heads in a turn and slide the brake run. THIS RIDE IS AWFUL!!!!

Incredible Coasters

Steamin’ Demon has the roughest, jerky, most awkward transitions, the worst headbanging, and really uncomfortable restraints and seats.

PRC Coasters

The vertical loop is the only remotely fun part, as its decently smooth and forceful.

PRC Coasters

The loop is surprisingly forceful, similar to Vekoma boomerangs.

Bubble Gaming

It has a nice drop and a forceful loop, though

Adrenaline Central

Not that forceful, but it’s sure rough as hell.

Incredible Coasters

I don’t know if you’ve ever been on it but it’s SO fun and so much better and faster then the one at SFNE.

@ashleyamirault9419

It’s also unfortunate because the line is rarely ever long, even with one train ops.

Bubble Gaming

There is never a line for this ride for a reason.

PRC Coasters

This ride is almost always is a walk-on.

I have liked every arrow coaster I’ve ridden besides this one, it’s very uncomfortable and not enjoyable really.

Adrenaline Central, Captain Coaster review

Now that I have ridden more roller coasters, I decided to ride it again, and I regret it.

Wicked Cyclone, Captain Coaster review

Please tear this terrible coaster down and give The Great Escape some good inversions.

David, Captain Coaster review

I had a HEADACHE for the rest of my day a great escape, THE HEADBANGING! this was the most painful ride i’ve ever ridden.

Max Coy, Captain Coaster review

Fun enough if you know what you’re getting into with an old Arrow looper, namely the neck chop entering the corkscrews.

Kenny H., Captain Coaster review

Unfortunately it was as rough as any Arrow coaster and gave me a pretty bad snap in my neck entering the corkscrew.
