Mind Eraser at Darien Lake review. How are the new restraints?

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Six Flags Darien Lake

My 2nd SLC and while it’s a little better with the new more comfortable trains, that doesn’t change how rough the coaster is and how much it throws you around.

Alex MeaLynk

Was not as bad as I thought it was going to be, just get over the headbanging and has some nice leg chopper moments and its kind of intense

M P

And to top it all off you end the ride with the most painful part of the ride, this horrendous transition going into the brake run that no other SLC has.

Carter Eckhart

I wouldn’t say you gray out, but you definitely feel it a lot.

Insane Coasters
Motion sickness risk

I rode this back in high school trips to the park in the late 90s and I remember it being a lot of fun when it was new, not painful, maybe a bit dizzying.

David

sit next to her but Cayla was to short to sit on her own so I sat BY MYSELF during the ride I was screaming the whole time and almost vomited afterwards now this is why I am never EVER going on again

Alex MeaLynk, Captain Coaster review

The vest restraints are comfy so there’s no headbanging, but good lord is this one still ROUGH.

David, Captain Coaster review

This Mind Eraser absolutely miserable, even more than Mind Eraser at Six Flags America.

Coaster Great, Captain Coaster review

This coaster is ridiculously rough and the transitions are just downright awful.
