What riders love
  • It is a must ride at night: you can see all the lit up buildings, while you're on top of a building.
  • The views you get of the Vegas strip (especially at night!) are unmatched by so many other coasters.
  • Ride at night; the lit up Vegas strip really makes this ride's location shine, and makes this ride worth riding at least once purely from a scenic standpoint.
  • I rode it once at night expecting a terrible ride experience, and was blown away.
  • However, it was surprisingly smooth and enjoyable!
  • I was expecting something pretty bad, so I was gladly surprised.
  • You do get some good floater airtime on the second drop.
  • Rode in row 8 in all of my 3 rides and the first two drops had great floater airtime, the two inversions were quite forceful, and the two little hills toward the end of the ride have decent floater.
  • The first drop is decent but the second one is even better.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at New York, New York Hotel & Casino

The first drop was pretty nice but the follow-up drop felt like the real deal and had nice negative g-forces.

Max S.

The back row has awesome ejector airtime, awesome whip rip and vacuum effect throughout the whole ride.

Sommer

I rode towards the front and some of the smaller hills towards the end had some floater airtime.

Fsoer Realm

The drops were actually really fun and gave decent floater, but the turns were unpleasant, the dive loop made head/neck hurt pretty good, and it meanders after the mid course.

Manuel Calvillo III

The first half (before the inversion) is not bad but the part after that has no view and is just very boring featuring endless bunny hops without any airtime.

Jonathan A.

This ride completely fails to deliver airtime every time it tries, but it’s big and powerful and makes up for its jankiness and lack of airtime with pure fun factor.

Nathan F

Said trains were incredibly comfortable and eliminated any possible headbanging from the previous trains, albeit the lap bar may sometimes get too tight.

Gavin Sikon

From here on, Big Apple Coaster was a head-bang-a-thon.

Coaster Critic

This coaster and the now-defunct Hercules in Dorney Park are by far the 2 worst (i.e. most painful) coasters I’ve ever had the displeasure of riding.

Gavin

But I remember the loop being so intense that I thought I would end up in a hospital after this “Welcome to Vegas” party ride was finally over.

Gavin

The ride delivers some fairly good forces, but also dead spots, were it delivers nothing.

David Braun

Other than that, the ride packs some really good forces and surprisingly solid airtime.

Brendan Keller

Rode in row 8 in all of my 3 rides and the first two drops had great floater airtime, the two inversions were quite forceful, and the two little hills toward the end of the ride have decent floater.

Mike

While the ride was definitely nowhere near as painful to ride as I was expecting, it was also much less intense than I thought it would be based on its layout.

Evangelion Martini

It’s tall and fast, has a fantastic view of Vegas, and even has a few pops of airtime!

Zach Payne

The location is great, it also has quite some speed at the beginning.

Heiko Hartmann

My main and only other con aside from the rough patches is that not much really happens after the break run and it feels like a slightly sluggish victory lap more than anything.

Gavin Sikon

The end result is just a pointless layout with many dead spots.

Marko Tsang

Dispatches are awful and usually exceed 3 minutes though

Mike

Took far too long to dispatch trains.

another iconic ride in one of the most beautiful city in the world, during the ride you have a stunning wiev and the location is very unique.

Caleb Vines, Captain Coaster review

I could enjoy the ride now and enjoy the two inversions and (believe it or not,) airtime.

Jonah S., Captain Coaster review

The dive loop started out great with a sensation of being suspended upside-down for longer than usual.

Coaster Critic, published review

Hey everyone want to pay 25$ for one of the worst roller coasters on in the world…Well do not worry, you can do that down in Las Vegas, Nevada.
