What riders love
  • I don't know what it is about this ride but it takes this fairly standard series of Arrow maneuvers with just dramatically more force than Arrow coasters typically seem to do.
  • This ride is crazy intense. The pacing is off the charts and the inversions pack in the positives.
  • It’s super intense and very well paced and often goes unnoticed.
  • The inversions are smooth and fun, and the turns at the end are excellent too.
  • The inversions are intense and fun, which makes for the best part of the ride.
  • Great pacing and whippy corkscrews.
  • But what really makes this ride is how it interacts with the landscaping of the park, which I think is really spectacular, and makes the ride look larger than life.
  • It’s a really intense ride that has cool sections where it dives into the cannon.
  • Your standard Arrow looper but with lots of interaction with the fake mountain in the center of the dome.

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Adventuredome

Runs so fast that you get pinned to the side of your seat during the double corkscrews and get violent ejector airtime over an innocent looking hill.

Zach Payne

This is a back row ride because of the airtime moment on the drop and the ejector on the bunny hill.

thecoasterBOII :)

This one is definitely worth a ride or two, preferably in the back so you can get some nice ejector on the first drop.

Evangelion Martini

I don’t know if this is just the back row but the one time I’ve been on this it was in the back row going down the very first drop I got amazing floater

@chevyeye

Fantastic arrow coaster decently smooth nice air time and so scarily fast like this ride is unnaturally fast awesome ride back row ride for sure

@jrax1713

The dome setting has definitely helped shield the track from the Vegas heat and other weather elements, making it butter smooth even decades after opening.

Josh Miller

The ride is also smooth, wicked smooth for an Arrow; like, I didn’t know Arrows could get this smooth.

Evangelion Martini

The ride is very intense, but it also bangs your head around but if you ride it defensively you will get almost no headbang.

thecoasterBOII :)

Yes it’s fun, and tracing above the walkways of the Adventuredome is exciting, but the ride is pretty uncomfortable.

Ethan Finn

The double loop was pretty intense and the double corkscrew was also a lot of fun and not painful at all.

Max S.

The inversions are intense and fun, which makes for the best part of the ride.

Ethan Finn

...looper, I like the layout and the interesting theme but it’s an old arrow coaster the coaster while intense it is pretty rough in my opinion, but it’s not rough to the point for me to dislike it, it’s...

RThirtyEight Coasters

It’s a really intense ride that has cool sections where it dives into the cannon.

Jonah S.

This was my first looping coaster i’ve ever done and probably my first actually intense ride.

@maximegilbert7904

I also grayed out heavily after that second loop.

@NickFlightX

It’s a very memorable section where this relatively slower ride feels like it’s blazing fast thanks to all of the elements that are whizzing by.

Coaster Critic

The pacing is off the charts and the inversions pack in the positives.

Brendan Keller

This is an extremely intense and fast-paced ride.

Nathan F

It’s super intense and very well paced and often goes unnoticed.

CoasterHead

Great pacing and whippy corkscrews.

Josh Miller

This ride is very fast and has a lot of curves and loops, causing your head to fling around.

@Mascara283

Wait times are low, and I think the long trains running two at a time makes for higher capacity.

Ethan Finn

It also had a basically non-existent line when I went, so I was able to ride twice.

Ethan Finn, Captain Coaster review

It’s really uncomfortable but it’s whippy and we’ll paced...trippy going through the tunnels.

Alexander Sims, Captain Coaster review

Zach Payne, Captain Coaster review

Canyon Blaster is a great example of a ride that’s much better than it should be thanks to theming and its surroundings.

Coaster Critic, published review

This one was actually one of the smoothest Arrow coasters I’ve ever been on so it looks like they took good care of it.
