What riders love
  • Incredible theming combined with a backwards part and an awesome surprise makes for a ride comparable to Disney coasters just off the work they put into it.
  • This coaster looks amazing from the outside with the mountain theming.
  • Lagoon did a great job with the theming, queue, this doesn’t feel like a ride at Lagoon at all!!
  • The coaster layout in and outside of the mountain are fun and have some nice force. Definitely a fun ride for kids and adults.
  • Part indoor roller coaster, part light gun ride, it's fun for families and great for score bragging rights.
  • I didn't expect it to end in two different ways, because I went on it twice and it was different both times.
  • You will need to ride this more than once to get a good feel and the alternate endings!

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Lagoon

A slight rattle as well but it’s no biggie.

CoasterHead

My only actual complaint is that the outside helix is a little rough.

Beyond Vertical Thrills

Very mild thrills, but theming and story is what makes this ride.

CoasterHead

The coaster sections are not really intense but still fun.

Toutatis

Edit: I rode it and it is well worth the wait.

@TheWiseMysticalTree

Though I will say this ride does not have good capacity.

CoasterHead

And, the line gets really long and moves extremely slow.

This coaster looks amazing from the outside with the mountain theming.

Toutatis, Captain Coaster review

That first drop is epic and so is the backwards part, but the shooting sucks and really brings the whole ride down.

Eleanor Bytheway, Captain Coaster review

Incredible theming combined with a backwards part and an awesome surprise makes for a ride comparable to Disney coasters just off the work they put into it.

Henry Marth, Captain Coaster review

It is great theming for Lagoon, but as someone who has been to Disneyland many times, it could be better.

Thomas Capell, Captain Coaster review

The theming is a little all over the place, but it is still enjoyable and looks nice.

Zach Payne, Captain Coaster review

As a dark shooting ride it’s fairly good and I liked the surprise at the end but as a coaster it is too short and it would have been much better if they just eliminated the shooting aspect and made a real full coaster with theming.
