Fairly Odd Coaster

2 rides I'll always remember!
What riders love
  • If you have an unbalanced train this ride is absolutely nuts, especially in what I like to call the "toilet bowl" section.
  • I really enjoy spinning coasters. This one is a fine example.
  • Plus, being built where it is, there are tons of near misses with everything else in this small space that ups the intensity a bit.
  • I also appreciate the turn over the queue line.
  • There is a bit of a dead spot going around the swings but the visual makes up for it.
  • First drop was surprisingly intense and the intensity is maintained throughout the ride.
  • Pretty intense Gerstlauer spinner!

Performance

Vs. other coasters at Nickelodeon Universe

Most of the ride was fine, but just after the wild mouse section there’s this crazy jolt that managed to give me a headache, which rides don’t usually do.

Ethan S.

The spinning makes it interesting, but it tracks rather poorly and depending where you are in the spin, some transitions can result in headbanging/neckchopping.

Michael M.

Plus, being built where it is, there are tons of near misses with everything else in this small space that ups the intensity a bit.

Brian Sheldon

First drop was surprisingly intense and the intensity is maintained throughout the ride.

Christopher S.

The intensity is sustained throughout the entire ride.

James Jenkins

Pretty intense Gerstlauer spinner!

guiderex

There were also a lot of tight turns, intense turns.

Pringleson

You gain quite a bit of speed there.

Incredible Coasters

There is a bit of a dead spot going around the swings but the visual makes up for it.

James Jenkins

It’s a fairly good spinning coaster and I would totally ride it if you’re ever at Nickelodeon Universe as this ride never really gets a long line.

Incredible Coasters

This coaster tends to get the longest lines in the park from my experience since the operators don’t fill the cars up entirely, which is helpful in getting your car off-balance.

Shy Guy Coasters

Another capacity nightmare, but this ride has nonstop spinning.

Christopher S.
Airtime

There was also a strong pop of air off the last mid course.

James Jenkins

This ride was spinning non-stop throughout the layout, and it also had very good positive forces, and surprising airtime too.

CHARLES H.
Motion sickness risk

I was only able to ride this once; I was sooooo dizzy when I got off the ride!

@annaLaPointe

The ride was so awesome me and my friend went on it ten times in a row my friend felt like he was going to throw up wen we got off the last time

@Gseemz

Should I ride it?

It’s no ride to happiness, but it’s definitely force and fear level of fun.

Alexander Sims, Captain Coaster review

We arn’t spinning much yet, but it’s still a very fun first drop.
